Enaia was built by brokers who grew tired of complaining about CRMs and digital tools that promise to “close more deals faster.” Being a CRE broker is complicated, very important work, and broker technology is hardly the reason deals don’t close faster. The sales cycle is long, the industry can be thankless and demanding, and little training exists. For all these reasons, Enaia was born. We interviewed hundreds of brokers, from Associates to Vice Chairmen/women and from broker admins to CEO’s, and learned a lot. We came to understand that the problem deserves a solution as unique as the industry.

We believe part of the problem lies in the fact that too many CRE brokerages are mimicing what works for other industries rather than embracing innovation to construct a solution that works for them. CRM’s make sense when employees are paid fat salaries and companies possess proprietary products that can’t be sold when salespeople leave. Brokers, however, are the product they are selling, and brokers don’t have the time to leave their daily grind to update their company’s CRM with their most sensitive data.

We asked two questions:
  1. What type of tool can brokers implicitly trust because it exists first and foremost for them?
  2. How can brokerage companies leverage the collective data their brokers already possess to make their brokers more successful?
Enaia is all about trust.

Lastly, we are deeply disturbed by the rise of technologies that steal data from the poor (brokers) to give to the rich (anybody who purchases that data). We believe brokers are the most important stakeholder in CRE because brokers create transactional equity and a level playing field for all stakeholders in the industry, especially occupiers and end-users of real estate. Brokers deserve best-in-class technology to fight back against this. That’s our mission.
